Vaschenko (Zaharchenko) Klym Zaharovych

Klym Zaharovych Vaschenko was born in the village Samovytsa in 1718. He got married in 1740. After 13 years of happy marriage his wife Gapka died. Klym had 3 children. He got married again. His second wife was Olyana, a daughter of a rich Cossack from the village Voronenzy Ivan Fedko. After the merridge on the 1 June 1757 Klym received a lot of land.
In 1757 Klym bought also a lot of farmland in the neighboring villages. He was also a owner of 5 foreste near the villages Korodyvka and Bogushkova Svoboda. In 1760 Klym received somehow official rank. In 1765 his daughter Darya got married to a local young nobleman Dmitry Tymofiyovuch Isaievych. Klym Zaharovych was the owner of the great territory of the farm land and forests. In 1761 with the help of his villagers he built a church. He found a priest. Klym gave all the necessary to his church and started a "Brotherhood” here. He worked for the welfare of the villagers. He also built a school for the villagers.
Klym Zaharovych had 3 brothers. Pulup had high military rank. The other 2 were Cossacks. In 1785 a patent of nobility appeared. Klym gave a nobility rank to his family. He gave the surname Zaharchenko to his family.
In 1792 Vaschenko (Zaharchenko) Klym Zaharovych died.
